Ornia's and Assaf's wedding III
Hall of Sultans -- Bajazet Embassy (Kaitain)
Gem-studded carved marble walls soar into the vaulted ceiling, giving the
impression of space and light. The gilded ceiling sparkles and reflects the
soft light that flickers from the large, suspended brass lanterns marching
in three neat rows down the length of the hall. Ornate tables are pressed
snugly against the north wall, under the myriad of windows. Worked with a
sweeping mosaic in blues, reds, and greens, the floor tiles click sharply
underfoot, the sound echoing through the vastness of the chamber. At the
west end of the hall stands a large dais, behind it hangs an enormous
standard. Slaves clad in black stand nearly unseen, ready to attend to the
needs of any occupant of the hall.
Players:
Assaf Ornia
Haroon Satyavrat
Hesakaya Steffan
Mikhail Umar
Objects:
Enormous Tiled Mosaic

Platinum Doors <E> leads to The Adrianopol -- Bajazet Embassy (Kaitain)
Haroon strides back into the room shaking his head and raises his eyes to
the ceiling saying something in Amat. "The young Lords are on their way" he
says "I apologise.. this was not the sort of interuption we had
anticipated.."
Ornia Just huddles to Assaf now and listens to what is said.
Hesakaya mutters to himself, "that... a..."
Now that the Harkonnen appear to be gone the guests begin to laugh and
mutter among themselves, eyeing the doorway through which they departed.
The band strikes up again.
Steffan looks at Haroon and lowers his head, "My humblest apologies, the
Marquise had no business making such an offer and associating herself with
them. I will speak to her regarding such things.."
Haroon nods to Steffan "She is accompanied by our guards. They have been
instructed to see that they leave"
Hesakaya's face shows either anger or irritation. Heading for the obvious
edges of the party he picks up a drink along the way, monitoring his
communicator.
Ornia finnaly moves from Assaf Embrace and walks to Haroon "My lord Thank
you." she trys to smile a bit as she nears him
Justine walks in from The Adrianopol through the Platinum Doors.
Justine has arrived.
Yuri walks in from The Adrianopol through the Platinum Doors.
Yuri has arrived.
Assaf smiles as Justine enters, he bows at her from his place and claps his
hands in her honour.
Justine enters the room looking tired and drained but has a satisfactory
smile on her face, she moves over to the nearest chair and sits down,
leaning back against it and closing her eyes.
Haroon chuckles and bows deeply "My Lady showed most exemplary tact.. an
example to us all, I'm sure"
Yuri helps Justine to her seat, "My lAdy, do you wish to return home so you
may rest?"
Mikhail chuckles and offer's a bow "Most exemplary indeed."
Justine looks to Assaf and Haroon, nodding her head deeply to them, "Thank
you, my Lords and friends. I am just glad that it was able to be resolved
without bloodshed. Please, continue the festivities." Her head then shakes
to Yuri and waves a hand at him, "No, thank you. I'd rather be here and
surrounded by friends then at the Embassy and surrounded by guards."
Yuri nods and smiles, "Then might I offer you a stimulant to keep your
energy up?"
Assaf turns to Ornia and offers her his hand, "Dear, aren't we supposed to
dance?"
Hesakaya observes the situation from a distance. All he does is make
eyecontact with justine giving her a 'be my guest to use it on the suk'
look.
Ornia smiles and nods after looking at Justine
Justine sighs a little and looks up to Yuri with a tight smile, "If I
accept will you leave me be?"
Haroon paces over towards Steffan and bows "Marquis, my own congratulations
are long overdue" He indicates Justine "I hope that you are most happy."
A Rastanyev messenger clad in mindnight blue livery makes his way through
the knots of people until he reaches the Na-Earl Rastanyev's side. The
messenger leans over and mutters somthing in Russkiy to the na-Earl.
With a expression of relief as Steffan looks at the Bajazets, he starts to
smile as Justine moves about. He approaches Haroon and nods, "Thank you
very much Regent.."
Yuri smiles and nods, "You do not have to accept, it was simply a friendly
offer." He looks like he is really only offering, not trying to force her
into anythign anymore.
The room fills with the alluring sounds of gentle music as some of the
Bajazet Slaves play their soft songs for the honored guests.
Assaf holds Ornia and leads her into the dance floor, letting the
festivities resume.
Justine nods in reply to Yuri, her smile loosening a bit, "I thank you for
the offer, but one thing you must learn if I am to stay at your Embassy, I
do not like having to take any kinds of medications unless there is no
other way. But I appreciate your offer."
The same slave girl from earlier gives Satyavrat a doe-eyed look and
refills his glass with a smile.
Satyavrat smiles politely at the slave girl, then turns away from
everyone's gaze to look at the ground. A deep flush can be perceived
beneath his tanned skin.
Ornia follows assaf again unto the floor and smile sat him as he takes her
to dance.
Yuri smiles and nods, "You must forgive me if I happen to seem overly
protective, but your well being is all I have been thinking of, My Lady."
With that he bows and goes about mingling, trying to divert his mind of
certain problems he has been thinking of lately.
Satyavrat walks over to Mikhail's side, nodding to the guard.
The Agha Kislar folds his hands together over the chest of his expansive
robe and watches the progress of the slaves in the hall from one of the
corners. He glances at Satyavrat and his.. friend with a look of
professional detatchment.
Justine nods a little to Yuri and seems greatly relieved when he leaves.
Her eyes slowly pan the area, looking to each of the guests. When a slave
offers her some wine, she waves him off with a smile and says, "No, thank
you. Although, some water would be nice." He bows to her and fetches the
water.
Using Russkiy, Satyavrat says, "... ... ... ... ..."
Assaf smiles as he hears the forien language, he swoops Ornia and whispers
to her.
Satyavrat shoots a glance at the Agha Kislar, looking rather embarressed.
He turns back to the slave girl mentioned, who giggles, covering her mouth
with her hand. He swallows hard, then turns back to Mikhail.
Ornia giggles a bit as she is swooped about on the dance floor and nods
lightly. she finnaly seems to have relaxed and enjoying herself
Yuri sighs slightly and finds a seat in a corner of the room, enjoying the
music, but for some reason he seems to remain to himself.
Using Russkiy, Mikhail sighs "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..."
Satyavrat nods, his face solemn.
Justine watches Ornia and Assaf with a sad smile and then lowers her head
to her lap. Her arms pull in towards her and her right hand idly runs
across her left forearm sleeve.
Using Russkiy, Satyavrat says, "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..."
Using Russkiy, Mikhail nods "..."
Using Russkiy, Satyavrat says, "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
... ... ..."
Haroon looks at Justine's disposition and squats down on his heels the
better to see her face. He smiles "Come Marquise, surely not such low
spirits here.."
Mikhail reverts to Galach for now, "Whatever you wish." He makes his way
around the knots of people finding himself a chair, he drops into it. His
expression is grave, the colour nearly gone from his face.
Justine's eyes lift to Haroon, bringing her back to where she is. Her right
hand quickly pulls away from her left, as if she were caught doing
something wrong. She smirks a bit and says, "Please, Lord Bashir, do not
call me that. I am still Lady Justine Garamond."
Satyavrat looks on with a concerned expression on his face as Mikhail walks off.
Assaf grins as he dances with Ornia, he tries to swirl her but is
unsuccessfull but it seems that nothing can ruin his good spirits.
the Agha Khislar beckons over the slavegirl with a nod of his head and
waddles forwards to meet her, his robes trailing over the floor. He speaks
to her in hushed tones. Her expression appears serious.
Ornia giggles and blinks at Assaf and his missed step but yet smiles and
continues the dance.
Satyavrat turns away from Mikhail only to notice the Agha Khislar. His eyes
widen in shock and he tries to make his way over to a remote corner of the
room, becoming suddenly interested in a hunting dog that is curled up and
asleep.
Yuri decides something as he sits in the corner then stands and approaches
Steffan
Assaf starts the conclusion of the dance as the band reaches the end of the
tune.
Yuri mutters to you, " If I may I wish to return to the Embassy, If you
require me, please call."
Ornia smiles and seems to be happy the dance is over and then hugs assaf
tightly and kisses him reather sensually before all in the room.
Satyavrat coughs.
Haroon smiles and cocedes "Very well.. but that is no excuse for sitting
here so solemn now. Are you well enough to dance?"
Assaf mutters to Ornia, "..."
Justine smiles softly to Haroon, her right hand reaching out and gently
touching the side of his face, "I would love nothing more but to have
another dance with you, Lord Bashir. However, I'm afraid that I exerted all
my energies on the Harkonnens. I hope you'll forgive me."
Ornia pulls back and nods to assaf before she looks to Justine and starst
to move to her, but decideds aginst it and stays very near Assaf
Haroon rises to his feet rather suddenly and nods. "Of course."
Ornia mutters to Assaf, "... is time we thank..."
Haroon clears his throat with a low rumble and downs his glass of wine.
Assaf has disconnected.
Assaf has connected.
Justine blinks in surprise as Haroon stands abruptly. She frowns a bit and
quietly says, "I'm sorry, Lord Bashir." She looks down at herself and then
back to him, slowly standing, "I will dance with you."
Haroon looks quietly pleased and links one arm over Justine's escorting her
towards the dancefloor.
The room fills with the alluring sounds of gentle music as some of the
Bajazet Slaves play their soft songs for the honored guests.
Ornia now steps from the dance floor and moves to grab a drink for herself.
Assaf coughes, trying to get the attention of the guests.
The Bajazet Slaves, who are dressed in their finest, stand off to the side
and out of the way, yet ready to serve the moment commanded.
Justine walks along side Haroon, her steps slow and tired.
Some in particular look trained to serve in less public ways..
Assaf raises his voice and says, "Ornia and I would like to thank all of
you for being here today."
Ornia walks back to Assaf with a smile and brings him a drink as well
Haroon mutters to Justine, "... I am... did... force you.... perhaps you...
instead"
Yuri walks up to Justine as he heads for the door, "My Lady, by your leave,
I wish to return to the Embassy. If you require my services, please call."
Assaf takes the drink and takes a sip, finding a place to sit, he smiles
while watching Haroon and Justine.
Haroon raises a round of applause from the crowd for the couple.
Justine is about to answer Haroon when Yuri approaches her. She looks to
him with a quirked brow and says, "I shall, however, I'm not the one to ask
permission to leave. I believe it is your Marquis who has that duty,
although, I do not know where he is."
Ornia smiles as she moves to sit and seems to be happy to be off her feet
finnaly and just sits close to Assaf and watches Justine and Haroon.
Justine applauds as well to the couple, offering a tired smile.
Steffan sips a bit of his drink looking around at everyone. He frowns after
Justine's comment but says nothing.
Yuri mutters to you, " If I may I wish to return to the Embassy, If you
require me, please call."
Justine looks back to Haroon and nods as she mutters back to him.
Ornia sips on her drink lightly as she is seated by assaf.
Justine mutters to Haroon, "... I do need... you... not force... to
speak... I..."
Ornia mutters to Assaf, "... when... take our..."
Haroon nods to Justine and waits for the next song to start as he leads her
in a slow, and relatively non-taxing waltz.
Yuri searches out Steffan in the crowd, hoping to find him in the room
somewhere.
Haroon nods to Justine and changes course from the dancefloor towards the
Salon, leading her at a stately pace.
Haroon steps through the carved doors, as the guards hold it open for his.
Haroon has left.
Justine steps through the carved doors, as the guards hold it open for her.
Justine has left.
Assaf stands up and looks at the people, "I am sorry, but Ornia and I will
take our leave now, again, thank you."
Satyavrat stands from his seat and claps politely.
Ornia stands up slowly and smiles as she looks about the room once more,
her eyes linger on her brother for a bit before she moves close to Assaf
Assaf takes Ornia's hand and leads her towards the Adrianopolis
Ornia walks slowly with Assaf now and smiles
Assaf bows at the people and leaves
Assaf walks to the east and passes through the Platinum Doors.
Assaf has left.
Satyavrat walks over to Mikhail.
Ornia walks to the east and passes through the Platinum Doors.
Ornia has left.
Satyavrat mutters to Mikhail, "..."

Sunbulzade walks in from Salon through the Carved Doors.
Sunbulzade has arrived.
Satyavrat notes the newcomer's entrance from his position next to Mikhail.
A lone man, silent, enters the hall from a doorway. He watches the crowd
cooly from his entrance, not knowing any as of yet.
Sunbulzade spies a man clothed in Rastanyev colors looking at him. He nods
slightly, and moves through the room towards the man. Crossing the room,
Sunbulzade nods to each in turn, but does not speak, intent on the
Rastanyev.
Steffan places his empty goblet on one of the trays as a slave passes by.
He looks about the room and smiles faintly. He then nods to everyone and
then starts to walk out.

As you walk into the Hall of Sultans, you notice how the room is grandly
decorated for this blessed event. Flags bearing the crests of House
Bajazet, House Ginaz and House Korash are strategically placed about,
showing the pride of the wonderful unification happening today. The room is
professionally decorated in all of the colors of each House and there is a
sweet aroma of the flowers in abundance. A place for dancing has been
cleared along with a small area for the band.
Satyavrat widens his eyes and manages to stifle further coughing. He bows
quickly to the entering Siridari. "My lords," he says, obviously quite put
off as to what he should be doing at the moment.
Justine makes it half way through the room when she needs to stop and lean
against a chair, lowering her head a bit as she tries to catch her breath.

Justine nods a little to Hesakaya and goes to reach for the said item when
she slumps against the man, her arms falling to her sides and her colored
bandage taking on a darker form.
Haroon smiles to Jeon with a tired grin "The day has gone very well... all
things considered"
Satyavrat smiles at Sunbulzade as the Swordmaster approaches him. His
expression changes to shock, however, when he catches a glance of the Lady
Justine. He shoots an agitated glance at Sunbulzade.
Steffan sees Justine and hastily walks over to help her.
Turning sharply to view the lady, Sunbulzade pardons himself and swiftly
walks to her also. He stays silent, waiting to move in and help.
Hesakaya blinks and catches the lady Justine in his arms.
Satyavrat frowns, but keeps his distance from the Lady, figuring that more
than three people might be worse than none.
Jeon directs the Bashir, Pasha whatever the heck he is, over closer to te
couple he enjoined. He says, "Bashir, mighty fine place you got here. Lord
Ginaz, when you have seen to Her ladyship, a matter most pressing to your
soul and perhaps even quality of life attends upon me. I would see you
about it, but I would not drag you from your love, whose first duty you
owe."
Justine remains slumped in Hesakaya's arms, unconscious but you can still
hear the wheezing with each breath she takes.
Hesakaya looks quickly left to right and lifts justine in his arms, getting
her to a more quiet place.
Steffan holds on to Justine, as well, motioning to sit her on a chair
nearby. After hearing the Emperor, he turns his head breifly, an
embarrassed look on his face as if he didn't notice him standing there, he
then remarks slowly "Yes of course....as you wish your Majesty. "
Haroon hrms and looks at the Lady Justine, who seems to be more than
adequately taken care of and clears his throat
Jeon turns to Bashir Haroon, "My good and loyal lord, I must apologise for
this affront to hospitality. I accept full responsibility for any
besmirching of the good name of Bajazet Hospitality." he turns to Steffan,
"It is obvious my lord that this instruction I have for you" he could mean
the military term instruction which is a kind of order sheet, or maybe the
more familiar one "will be of use to you."
Hesakaya looks at Steffan. "My lord...I suggest we return home...even if we
revive her the party's too big a stress on her now..."
Sunbulzade returns to his seat by Satyavrat, water in hand. Only when he
sits does he finally take his first sip of the stuff. He waits silently.
Steffan looks at his Mentat hestitantly, "Yes, you are quite right. Call
for the limo. We will take her home. " He turns his attention to the
Emperor, "Your Majesty, what is it....how can I serve you."
Haroon furrows his brow, trying to interpret that one "No affront My Lord..
I must apologise that events here did not go quite as smoothly as had been
planned. The Lady was perhaps over excited by the appearance of two
Harkonnen youths earlier"
Jeon nods, and his eyes sparkle, "I have word that one of the most senior
ranking Ginaz has ..." he looks around, and his face falls sullen, "...has
failed in his or her duty." He looks at Steffan, trying to look him in the
eyes, "I know that this must be of great alarm to you, my lord, and you'll
want to speak with me about it."
Hesakaya nods and starts moving to the exit, carrying the lady Justine in
his arms.
Hesakaya walks to the east and passes through the Platinum Doors.
Hesakaya has left.
Jeon has disconnected.
Jeon has connected.
Justine is carried off by Hes.
Satyavrat regards the speakers with a perplexed expression on his face.
Haroon rubs his jaw with a slightly uncomfortable look and moves away
wondering where this is leading.
A horrified look comes over Steffan's face, and excited tone in his voice,
"I have not ever failed in my duty your Majesty..." He stops suddenly, his
face now quite red, "many pardons your Majesty, if you say that I have,
then I must have but I assure you it was not intentional...please, tell me
how I might..." He stops and looks at Justine, holding her hand. He shakes
his head, "She needs medical attention, we must get her back to the
embassay quickly.."
Jeon looks amused, "I never stated who had failed in his or her duty, My
Lord Ginaz. We must discuss this matter at length, before the affront that
has occured does any more damage. The fact that it is continuing is most
disturbing, and that a Ginaz? The lynchpins of duty." He turns to Haroon,
"not to say that Bajazet are not themselves dutiful" turns back to Steffan,
"should be the ones in this, strikes me to the core."
Sunbulzade leans forward from his seat, glass held languid and forgotten in
his chair. His face betrays no real interest, yet his eyes dance at the
conversation unfolding in front of him.
Satyavrat reaches up and runs a hand through his tangled hair, pulling
slightly in a gesture of frustration. He looks on intently, but there is a
great deal of confusion revealed in his eyes.
Haroon sits down in a chair with a slightly confused look. The Agha Khislar
in the corner spies his expression and directs one of his young charges to
him. She pads over to a position behind his chair and begins to massage his
shoulders.
Steffan sighs, "If I may be permitted to take the Lady Justine back...I
would be more than happy to return, to discuss and resolve any matters at
hand, your Majesty.."
Jeon waves his hand as if waiting is no bother for him, "Please, see to
your first duty, Lord Ginaz, and when it is most meet, attend upon me." His
eyes sparkle again in an almost predatory manner.
Haroon forces a smile to Jeon "His Majesty is too kind to keep referring to
any affront to our hospitality. None has been taken. We should not let this
sad event dampen our collectively festive mood hmm?"
Jeon turns to Haroon, Steffan dismissed, "Then let us two put it behind us.
Shall we toast the prosperity of something worthwhile? Happy marriages
perhaps?"
Steffan bows rather ungracefully and walks out hastily.
You walk through the Platinum Doors.
