The Return of Aurarius...

Starring: Chancellor Juseppe Zukunfkreige and Majordomo Lucius Aurarius Ophelion

Diplomatic Lounge -- Venhei Embassy (Kaitain)

The room is a huge arena of immense official attitude. The walls are paneled 

with dark woods; while a large skylight encompasses the whole ceiling. The East 

wall is covered with a floor to ceiling bookcase. The back wall has a small 

bar. The West side has two planetary globes and various other items. A large 

black plasteel conference table dominates the center of the room. Many desks 

are scattered uniformly around the room.

 Staircase <D> leads to Foyer -- Venhei Embassy (Kaitain)



The asimetrical figure of Aurarius moves towards the staircase with two 

troopers behind him. Those three are indeed newcomers to Kaitain, as most of 

the current staff of the embassy would not recognize them.


Juseppe is near the globe of Kaitain... loking and spinning the globe slightly.



Aurarius passes by the globe, his back straight with self imposed dignity as he 

moves on. One of Aurarius' guards seem to touch the chancelloe slightly as he 

tries to follow his master. This one is indeed an interesting guard, as under 

the Venhei emblem, one can notice the double headed eagle crest.


Juseppe turns around... "ahh Aurarius... Your back from your trip?"


Aurarius pauses for a few second, tapping his foot on the floor, allowingthe 

sound to fill the room. A sudden twitch overcomes him as he slowly turns around 

to notice the one who called him, "Ummm, huh?" He ponders, scanning the one who 

identified him.


Juseppe looks him wondering what can be wrong, "How was home?"


Aurarius just looked at you.

A small man, weak looking that sometimes has a plain face, while other times 

one would notice a hawklike bearing with overlarge melange effected eyes. 

 

 He has light blonde hair, which is well trimmed to the side. His temples 

betray a hint of grey, though it would be difficult to determine the age of 

this man. He waves a hand or turns his head one way and speaks the other, a 

trait which makes him difficult to follow. 

 

 Probably the most obvious attribute this man possess is his tick, an 

uncontrollable twitch of the head towards the shoulder in a swift manner with 

no apparant pattern or causes. 

 

 Currently, the man wears white robes, covering his entire form, and yet leaves 

his arms rather free. The Venhei crest lies over his left breast as a pin, 


Juseppe leans more upon his cane.


Aurarius takes a deep breath, winking his eyes as he begins to speak in his odd 

breaking tone, "Ahh, we-wi-well home?" He asks, allowing one to think he is a 

teenager who keeps having his voice broken, "ju-just phe-phe-pfine"


Juseppe in a comanding voice, "Good... " , looks at him oddly, "You know who I 

am?"


Aurarius shrugs his shoulders slightly, nodding, "Ummm, ay-aye-I believe so" he 

manages, keeping his tone straight. He passes out a sigh, tasting his lips with 

his tongue.


Juseppe smiles slightly, "Well I am Juseppe Zukunfkreiege, Warmaster and now 

Chancellor of House Venhei."


Aurarius blinks only lightly, allowing a wry smile over his face, wonderingif 

he should be impressed. Instead, he starts to chuckle, only to be interrupted 

by a sudden twitch of his neck, pulling it violently to his right.


Juseppe stands more upon his cane, "I guess this old solider has just missed 

something"


Aurarius regains his composure quickly, shaking his head, "No, n-n-not really, 

em-em-mmm-my dear Chancellor" He then regains his smile.


While pacing around; Juseppe scratches his head, "I guess you have missed some 

recent changes around here?"


Aurarius clears his throat, grinning to himself, "Pl-ple-ple-pleease ... tell 

of de-de-dthe changes?" He wondersing, shifting his eight from one leg to the 

other.


"Let's sit down and I will do my best to tell you...", Juseppe smiles.


Juseppe walks over to the bar at the back of the room.


You step up to the bar.


Aurarius's hands are being held by each other behind his back. He shrugs his 

head, "Well, ar-ar-are d-d-dth-these changes pr-pr-priva-a-a ... te?" He 

ponders, tilting his head to the side in a strange manner.


At the bar, Juseppe shakes his head, "Ohh no..."


Aurarius's head turns as you stand. he slowly moves towards you, allowing both 

his gaurds to stay behind. "aye-ay-I sh-a-shall stand ee-if you do not 

mi-ei-eye-nd"


At the bar, Juseppe says, "That will be fine."


At the bar, Juseppe gets a drink.


You walk away from the bar.


Aurarius nods his head, remaining silent as he watches you. Every so often his 

head twitches, as his usual tick.


Juseppe walks closer to Aurarius while taking a drink, "Well first change is me 

being appointed to the position of Chancellor. Then there is the remodeling of 

our Embassy."


Aurarius shrugs his shoulders, staying silent, allowing his eyes to follow the 

man.


Juseppe looks over at the guards, then back, "Plus, We are currently installing 

new diplomatic personel. The former ones have dissappeared many months ago in a 

star ship accident."


Aurarius allows another wry smile, "Ahh, yes, ee-it seems the House suffers 

from a bad streak of 'accidents' huh?" He ponders, accenting a certain word, 

trying to be somewhat cynical. Oddly enough, the man hardly stutters.


Juseppe nods, "It has pondered my mind why all of these accidents seem to 

happen. I am convinced that there is an unknown killer around us."


Aurarius allows a loud chuckle, shaking his head, "You talk aloud about such 

matters?" He asks, keeping a strong tone, with no stuttering. For the first 

time, his eyes seem to be focused on you. "you seem to be here and oblivious to 

the answers?" He shakes his head, "The only killer is ignorance!" He finally 

states, allowing only a slight sneer.


Juseppe walks over to Aurarius and speaks litely into his right ear, "You never 

know... but what I speak is the official line. So keep any thoughts of an 

insider under your robe there."


Aurarius takes a deep breath, "Official?" He asks aloud, shaking his head. The 

shake itself soon turns into a twich. 

 

 However, at the other end of the room, the two guards which the old majordomo 

came with seem to appear next to him as you approach the man.


Juseppe whispers, "Yes.. and keep it down."


The old Chancellor walks away from the Majordomo using his cane to lead his 

steps.


Aurarius once more asks aloud, as if to annoy someone on purpose, "Why?" He 

then shrugs his head, grinning to himself.


Juseppe in a commanding voice, "Because my dear Major... Domo. We are in rough 

waters and the house must be kept afloat. So for the sake of the house and our 

corporations and that means the stockholders; You must fit inline with the new 

established order! Can you give me your support?" lowers his head with a slight 

shaking, "It means your position and profit."


Aurarius allows a chuckle, shaking his head, "One should not command, unless he 

knows how to" He shrugs his shoulders, "Support is not given lightly either, 

but I am open ... to any plans one has to reshape the house" He then shakes his 

head, turns around towards the stairs and moves on.


Juseppe talks under his breath, "I hope he knows what he is chuckling about..."


Juseppe chimes in, "Majordomo... I thank you for the support."


Aurarius just before taking the first step, turn around, allowing one of his 

famous tick rapture him beforehe bows, "Indeed, we shall see ... but good plans 

are teh source for support" He then turns and leavs
