Apartments -- Ginaz Embassy (Kaitain)

Easily the most austere area in the entire embassy, the apartment wing of
the Ginaz Embassy stands in stark contrast to the size and grandeur of the
entirety of the embassy. The hallways while well lit are small, the
ceilings low and the entire area is made out of the same dark blue marble
that the embassy is encased in. The walls are decorated with scenes from
the Ginaz home world as if to remind all of the individuals housed here
that they are not in their home. Occasionally one can see inside a room and
notice that for the most part the rooms are like cells in a monastery, not
the residences of the ambassadorial staff of one of the greatest Houses
major in the Landsraad. Guards are stationed at all of the main entrances
to this wing and two guards wearing the unmarked field gray uniforms of the
Marquis guard stand at attention at the entrance to the Marquis Suite.

Bernh fidgets with his comm....
Bernh looks nervous, "I have a meeting, would you prefer to come with me?"
Ulrich looks around and says, "sure, why not."
Dominic nods "Of Course, Mentatkanzler. I have completed my duties for the
day. What is the nature of this meeting?"
Bernh looks like he is committing regicide saying, "Well, that I cannot
tell, sheild belts, and kindjals are the order of this meeting though."
Ulrich rests his head in his right hand and slowly says, "ya don't say, hmmm."
Bernh looking like time is waisting, "Hurry, we must be going soon!"
Dominic nods gravely "Well, it seems I am prepared then. Let me add one
more thing though"He walks into his apartment and comes back out a moment
later with a maula pistol. He puts it in the back of his shirt.
Dominic says, "Let's go"
Bernh nods to Dom, "good thinking." Bernh motions south.
Ulrich nods slowly

You walk through the Arch.

Residential Wing -- Ginaz Embassay (Kaitain)

The Residential Wing contains all the living quarters of the staff,
the retainers, and the nobles themselves. The wing has no windows but
rather has a disquised sun roof that allows some of the light to enter the
wing. The walls are adorned with pictures of past residents, Siridars to be
sure but also some of the more trusted Mentats and other military figures.
A new picture, obviously just hung, its frame much more brilliant than the
others can be seen just as one enters the wing. It is larger than most with
an intricately gold frame surrounding it. It is a picture of Morgen I. Lear
standing next to his first born, a considerably younger Steffan. At the
other end of the hallway is a picture of the only woman. Under the painting
a caption reads :This painting has been passed down through the generations
and has been the subject of conflicts and political uphevils. It is because
She was presumably one of the first Bene Gesserit Reverend mothers but this
has never been c!

Foyer -- Ginaz Embassy (Kaitain)

The dark blue marble exterior of the embassy has seemingly desolved into a
gleaming white marble with gray veins in a circular room. There are high
arches and sweeping buttresses meeting the ground with Ionic style pillars
made of black marble with gold veins. A ceiling extends to the very roof of
the building. There is a kind of circle within a circle within a circle.
The flying buttresses sweep out and come down in the exact center of the
room ending in fourteen pillars. Between each of these pillars is a desk
with an attendant seated. The second circle is considered the inner circle.
This is made by a series of twenty-eight archways, which leave twenty feet
between the arches and the real wall, at each of these pillars stands a
Ginaz Out-world Guardsman in full-dress.

Courtyard -- Ginaz Embassy (Kaitain)

Behind a wrought iron fence, with the seal of House Ginaz in the center of
the gate and two one man guardhouses, lies the open courtyard of the Ginaz
embassy. A road leads straight to the main entrance of the embassy,
encircling a four story fountain. The lawn around the building is a dark
green and groomed to perfection, with many pines and shrubs dotting the
area, in tastefully arranged randomness. The embassy itself is at least
thirty story structure designed like a giant six pointed Star of David. The
building itself is made of a dark blue granite that is native only to the
home-planet of the Ginaz. The embassy uses what would be considered a
Gothic style with flying buttresses and windows all coming to a point. A
'thopter pad can be seen atop the building as well as the rotating colors
of the crystal dome over the center of this gargantuan star.

You request a staffcar over your communicator.
Dominic looks around the darkened street.
Bernh waits impatiently for a car
A Ginaz Staffcar pulls up near Bernh.
Ginaz Staffcar
The soft leather seat can sit three comfortably and molds perfectly to the
form of the occupants. Tinted meta-glass windows help keep out the glare of
the sun and lights coming off the many buildings of the Imperial City.

Ulrich has arrived.
Dominic has arrived.
The driver nods.
There is a sense of acceleration as the staffcar picks up speed.
Dominic looks at Bernh "So, where are we going at his hour?"
The staffcar is buffeted slightly by a large gust of wind.
Numerous vehicles can be seen darting through the avenues.
Bernh looks like questions are not important at this point.
Numerous vehicles can be seen darting through the avenues.
Dominic waits a moment and then looks out the window.
The staffcar decelerates steadily and comes to a smooth stop.

City Center -- Central District (Kaitain)

A 200-meter tall statue of a lion dominates the City Center. The lion,
rearing up on its hind legs and roaring toward the north, appears to be
made of polished gold. A narrow road passes under the statue and directly
through the small park surrounding the lion's feet. Around that is a
multi-lane traffic circle, with wide tree-lined avenues leading to the four
corners of the city... and the Universe.

You pass the Via Pecunia.

Circle of Fortune -- Central District (Kaitain)

Running the edges of the street are various posts, all sized to stand at
the height of approximately two average-sized humans. On top of each post
is the flag of another House of the Landsraad. At the center of the road,
the traffic is parted by a large circular medium. The center of the medium
stands the largest post, with the flags of CHOAM and House Corrino flying
proudly. Setup around this are various booths for open market. The
buildings about the roadway also carry signs of the shops and merchants.

You walk through the Brick Archway.

Courtyard -- Imperial Conservatory (Kaitain)(#1899RntJ)

The courtyard is designed in a simplistic square shape. An enormous marble
wall surrounds the courtyard, giving it privacy from the traffic beyond.
There is a cobblestone path cutting out a cross shape in the ground. In the
middle of the cross path sits a large statue, smaller statues rest at the
four corners. Rose bushes adorn the sides of the path giving the four ends
an isolation from each other. The statues are fashioned in a Greco-Roman
style, very life like. Around the center statue are four benches placed at
each path branching off from the middle.

Dominic glances at Bernh, but says nothing. His eyes constantly scan their
surroundings.
Juhren walks in from Circle of Fortune through the Brick Archway.
Juhren has arrived.
Ulrich begins rocking back on his heels, looking around anxiously.
Juhren enters, followed by three guards this time. He looks rather annoyed,
and hurries up to Bernh, "What is the meaning of this summons?" he growls.
Bernh stops pacing, watching Juhren's entrance.
Dominic looks with interest at Juhren's entrance.
Bernh looks cold, saying, "What is your hand in our internal conflict
Master salanti?!"
Dominic carefully takes a measure of the guards.
In Juhren's haste, he seems to have forgotten to use his cane, and it rests
in his hand, as useless as if it was not even there. He continues on, and
stops about five feet before reaching the triad of Ginaz.
Juhren cocks his head to the side, "What manner of questioning is this? I
should be the one questioning you my /friend/. " His voice grows to an even
more sinister growl.
Bernh produces a small paper, "I recieved this through nefarious sources,
it is from a Harkonnen information officer. It is addressed to you,
regarding the Maricinko Republican Brotherhood, and supplying weapons!"
Juhren stares at the man for a moment, as if not knowing what to say. You
cannot tell however if he is staring because he is shocked at being found
out, or if he is merely shocked because he has never seen the letter
before. Eventually, he opens his mouth, but all that comes out is laughter.
Shaking his head, Juhren leans forward and hisses, "I see what you are up
to now, you snake!" He chuckles again, at himself this time, "I wonder that
I did not see it before.."
Bernh growls in anger, "Why are you laughing! I almost gave you a 90%
chance of following through with this truce!"
Bernh gets red, "You think I MADE this!"
Juhren glances at the other two Ginaz, "Do they know about your treacherous
designs? Or is this merely your own private planning Mentat?" He chuckles,
"So this is what you were about all this time, acting like you wanted an
end to the kanly, when in reality all you wished was to break up the
Harkonnen-Moritani alliance!"
Bernh flicks two handsigns, "yes I wanted to break it up! But to possibly
aid your lying, cheating house, to save them from the viper at thier
breast!"
Bernh looks to his aids, "Now I see a house who is not worth any help, nor
worth any truce! When we would sign the document, the Moritani would be
already plotting our demise!"
Juhren waves a dismissing hand at the paper, "I do not care if you made
that, or stole it, or pulled it out of a hat. Any Mentat worth a shot of
Kaitain whiskey would know that was a fake." He smiles, with malice evident
in his face however, "And as for your altruistic goals, I seriously doubt
you are that naive and gentle."
You notice Juhren's right hand clenching and unclenching, "Oh that I was
twenty years younger, I would show you that the House Moritani was well
worth helping, and well worth staying away from when angered!"
Bernh continually touches his kindjal, saying, "Naive, no, peaceful, yes.
Let me ask you, if I sowed the seeds of truce who would lose! You fool! It
is the Harkonnen who'd loose! You are blinded by your incessant plots! I
try to HELP you and you think I seek advantage!"
Bernh merely ignores Juhren's later outburst.
Juhren chuckles, "Do not think I am senile just because I am old!! I can
see exactly how your House would prosper if this alliance were to be
destroyed!" He nods, "I grant that it is not entirely wrong of you to try
and break our alliance, but to use such an evil and deceitful manner of
acheiving that end??" He almost seems sad, "I had actually wondered if I
had found one Ginaz that I could trust, but I guess now I see that I can
trust none of the conniving welps!"
Dominic seems slightly troubled by Juhren's last statement.
Ulrich 's body stiffens, and he winces as if he were in pain.
Bernh looks so mad, he seems quite calm, "Well Old Man, if you'd stop and
listen you'd see that, yes a truce would help us, but it would help you
more! The Moritani have ALWAYS managed the affairs of others before their
own!"
Slight beads of sweat drip from Juhren's brow, as he seems to be getting
himself quiet worked up... the veins is his neck are popping out, and he
almost would appear comical if his face did not show such fury. "The
MORITANI have managed the affairs of others??" He seems about to start
yelling at Bernh, but chokes himself off with some effort.
Bernh sneers at Juhren, "Yes, you've managed the affairs of others so well
you've forgotten to manage your own! How many dead Counts are there now?
have you been slipping OLD MAN?"
Bernh puts his hand on the sheild belt panel, and holds his kindjal handle
tightly.
Juhren uses his cane now, as he shuffles two steps closer to the Ginaz
Mentat, "I will tell you this once Bernh, go back to your Siridar, and tell
him that I will NOT sign any papers for a truce, and I will NOT advise my
Lord Count Cesare to make any sort of pact with a house of animals and
thieves." He whispers to Bernh, just loud enough for the others to hear,
"How many nights do you spend sleepless in bed Mentat," He spits out the
word, "because you cannot trust those around you?" He cackles, "You shall
be spending many more of those I am sure...You know the saying? Sleep with
snakes, but do not expect to wake up unbitten."
Dominic narrows his eyes and his face grows cold at Juhren's words.
Bernh laughs, mockingly, "Ahh the truth comes out! Master Salanti cannot
sleep at peace in his OWN nest of vipers!" then to the others he says,
"Classic Transference! I think Kistand would agree! This poor excuse for a
mentat is just another sign of the cancer that is House Moritani!"
Juhren continues, louder, "I personally would like nothing better then to
see your entire house engulfed in this threat from within. " He chuckles,
"After all, what is really the House Ginaz? You do not even know yourself
who the true and loyal members of the House are..."
